Sardinia has a typical maritime Mediterranean weather. In spring and autumn the temperatures on the island are pleasantly mild, in summer they reach up to 40 degrees. The winter months are rainy and cool.

From late October the temperature drops to between 18 and 13 degrees, and becomes too cold to swim in unless using a wet suit.
